Vollmund in the vineyards

Friday, 25 and Saturday, 26 September

The Graz region is home to numerous award-winning chefs. From Michelin-starred restaurants to charming inns, the culinary masterpieces of our chefs are a must for every gourmet. At the same time, there is a new generation of up-and-coming chefs who are bringing fresh energy to Graz’s culinary scene with creativity and passion.

Vollmund in the vineyards

with a passion for history

Once a thriving centre of Graz’s wine-growing tradition, the Kehlberg vineyards fell into obscurity during the 20th century. In the 21st century, dedicated winemakers brought them back to life.

Today, the vineyards on the Kehlberg tell a story of history, nature and contemporary culinary passion. They have become a living expression of the city of Graz itself.

Michael Winkler

Kehlberghof in Graz combines proximity to the city with the tranquillity of nature. Set high above the rooftops, it feels like a retreat where urban energy meets rural calm. Since 2020, the long-established establishment has been run by Michael Winkler and Sabrina Hörbst.

Nestled into the slopes of the Kehlberg, Kehlberghof is known for cuisine that combines traditional Austrian inn culture with contemporary influences, as well as for its extensive wine selection. The surrounding landscape shapes the atmosphere just as much as the restaurant’s commitment to sustainability. Regional gourmet publications regard Kehlberghof as an established name on Graz’s culinary scene.

Our tip: If tickets for your preferred event are no longer available, the restaurants and hosts throughout the Graz Region offer exceptional cuisine and outstanding quality all year round.
